When the traveling he saw was a very old man, a sick person, and a Dead Person. Understanding the life of human and suffering made him uncomfortable, depressed and he wanted to learn about the ways to overcome aging, sickness, and death by living the life of an ascetic. The next day, when he was at age 29, he left his wealthy kingdom, his wife, and son to experience and to know the universal suffering to every living kind.

Siddhartha Gautam finally saw the answer to the questions of suffering that he had been seeking for many years and the moment he became Buddha “he who is awake” He was at the age of 35 when he gained enlightenment. Two years after his awakening he traveled to his birthplace with a two-month journey teaching the dharma.
